This model is more than a mere guitar, it is an instrument issued in support of Pete Huttlinger, one of the best fingerstyle guitar players of today. To support him in his struggle with a serious heart condition, Collings decided to release a special, limited edition OM model bearing his name. This model kicks off with an orchestra cutaway body made of mahogany back and sides with a sitka spruce top. Tortoise binding, tortoise pickguard and triple circle rosette complete the top. The bridge is made of ebony and it comes with black string pins and bone saddle. The neck is made of mahogany and it is attached to the body at the 14th fret. Ebony fingerboard comes with 20 frets and a custom inlay at the 12th fret. 1-11/16" bone nut, 25-1/2" scale and nickel-plated Waverly tuners complete the specs.
