SJ Mh is a mahogany-bodied variant of the SJ model. They both belong to the Collings SJ series which is made up of Jumbo-shaped acoustic guitars. SJ Mh features no cutaways and it`s back and sides are made of mahogany. The top is a standard sitka spruce appointment. The top features ivoroid binding, tortoise pickguard and also a tortoise pickguard. The bracing pattern applied on this model is a prewar scalloped one. The bridge is made of ebony and it comes with belly shape, ebony string pins and bone saddle. The neck is made of mahogany and it is attached to the body at the 14th fret. The fingerboard is made of ebony. It`s features include 20 frets, diamond inlays and 1-11/16" bone nut. 25-1/2" scale and nickel-plated Schaller tuners complete the specs.
