Thirteen guitars, divided into seven series, were introduced in Anaheim, Ca. Some of the highlights include the new Artwood Vintage line and the first AEL fanned fret model.
As one of the biggest brands and leaders of the guitar market, Ibanez has a special sort of responsibility. It reflects in an unsaid responsibility to always stay ahead of the curve and push the limits ever further. Among thirteen models introduced at this year`s NAMM, Ibanez has managed to unveil two huge novelties. The first one, and bigger, is the introduction of the Artwood Vintage series with four models in the initial lineup: AVD6, AVC6, AVN6 and AVN5. Second one is AEL`s AELFF10, a fan-fretted guitar with composite scale. Regular Artwood line has received short-scale AW54MINI and standard-scaled AC240L. AE900 and AE800 comprise the brand new AE series, while AEW51 and AEW16LTD1 joined the AEW lineup. AEG1812II is the only twelve-stringer and GA35CE is the only nylon-stringed model.
