Ibanez`s 2018 acoustics lineup brings 36 new models, spread out through the entire catalog. Artwood was, with its sub-series, the most heavily updated range.
This year at NAMM, while many brands showed reduced and streamlined instrument lineups, Ibanez went in with all guns blazing. Over 150 instruments in total, of which around 35 went to the acoustic segment. All major series were updated with, of course, the popular Artwood range taking the center stage. New Artwood Vintage models are: AVD60, AVD9CE, AVN11, AVC11, AVD11, AVC10MH, AVC9L, AVN9SPE, and AVD10E. The regular Artwood line will be reinforced with following models: AC340CE, AC340L, AW54LCE, AW5412CE, AW54JR, and AC340. PF series` updates include: PC12MHCE and PF12MHCE. The new flagship series, the AE, will sport these new models in 2018: AE800, AE510, AE315, AE255BT, AE245L, AE2412, AE205JR, AE245, and AE245JR. New AEWs are: AEWC400, AEWC300, and AEWC4012FM. There will also be one new AEG model – AEG1812II. New acoustic basses are: AEB105E, AVNB1E, ANB1FE, PNB14E, and AEWB32.
